2015
The 12th Annual $10,000 Falcon Lake Winter Fish-Off was a huge success! With above average seasonal temperatures drawing the big fish into the derby site, anglers had great fishing opportunities by catching and releasing 119 fish! Uncut Angling's Aaron Wiebe returned as weighmaster, weighing in a flurry of catches as soon as the day began. As always we had anglers from all over central Canada, the midwestern United States, as well as Canada's frozen North country! The Hidden Weight was revealed to be 11.70lbs which fell between our 2nd and 3rd place catches. Our 2nd place winner, Rob Malak, had the closest weight which won him a Frabill Headquarters ice shack! Once again the young anglers caught some great fish and won some great prizes, and it was great to see so many female anglers winning prizes from the top 50! We are still calculating St.Amant's total donation, but their 50/50 pot was a whopping $12,465.00 which resulted in a $6,232.50 take home! We also sold out of all our bait, which the proceeds are donated to St.Amant as well!
